Product Information
With the launch of the Nirvana, Brunswick is introducing a new performance line of balls featuring our newly developed Enhanced Composite Segmentation (ECS) coverstock technology. The innovative ECS technology expands the soft segments of the polymer chain in order to produce improved friction and a larger sweet spot. The result is better ball motion on a wider variety of lane conditions and fewer adjustments on the lane. In addition, ECS technology provides longer performance life and a faster refresh rate for improved consistency.
The red/blue/violet Nirvana features the ECS solid coverstock matched with the new Ultra Low RG Nirvana Core to produce exceptional traction and impressive backend reaction on medium to heavy oil lane conditions. Bowlers are going to see something very special with the Nirvana especially on heavy oil lane conditions.
COVERSTOCK
The new ECS (Enhanced Composite Segmentation) coverstock is Brunswick’s hottest innovation in performance enhancing technology. ECS expands the soft segments of the polymer chain producing improved friction and wider sweet spot resulting in fewer adjustments. ECS technology generates a faster refresh rate and a longer performance life for the coverstock.
CORE
The new Nirvana Ultra Low RG core features a single density rounded elliptical inner core. The core is dynamically designed to optimize ball motion with multiple drilling options for increased pin action and higher scores.
BALL MOTION
The new Nirvana with its 1500 grit Siaair Micro Pad finish, provides easy length through heads, exceptional mid lane traction and impressive backend continuation on medium oily to oily lane conditions.
REACTION SETUP
The Nirvana can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for asymmetric core bowling balls.
LIGHTWEIGHT ENGINEERING
At Brunswick, the unique core shape of each individual ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. At 12 and 13 pounds, Brunswick uses a generic core shape with a RG-differential that is close enough to the 14 to 16 pound shape so the same drilling instructions can be used.
