Inside, the original Quadfire core replaces the Supra GT's Quadfire V2. This core offers more differential with a lower R.G. for faster revving, while also providing more stability and overall power for explosive response on the track. This core is for you if you want a clear lead and acceleration.
We've wrapped this beast in Propulsion XRT hybrid shell technology—our sharpest and edgiest hybrid yet. It's like switching from street tires to slicks. You get the clean slide of a Pearl in the face and the added grip of a Solid in the backend. This hybrid bite allows the Supra Clutch to react at incredible speeds and hit the lane at full throttle.
Use:
Speed-dominant bowlers:
Speed-dominant bowlers benefit from an additional differential for more flare and from faster-spinning cores with a lower RG. While balanced bowlers use a Max Thrill, the speed-dominant bowler should have significantly more success with the Supra Clutch, with its stronger cover, lower RG, and higher differential.
Balanced Bowlers:
The Supra Clutch is an angular option for balanced bowlers who rarely have enough friction for a Max Thrill Pearl. For balanced bowlers playing in longer tournament blocks, on older surfaces, or on patterns that require a high angle but without a lot of oil, the Supra Clutch is crucial.
Rotation-Dominant Bowlers:
Crankers and most two-handed bowlers consider themselves rotation-dominant. For these bowlers, balls like the Supra Clutch are particularly well-suited when less oil is applied to the lane. Last year, EJ Tackett won a US Open title with a ball from the Supra line on a less oily pattern. The clean and angular response on medium to dry lanes is a very important tool for rotation-dominant bowlers, as they are forced to play steep angles in many league and tournament conditions.
